Fight for $15 at the State Budget Hearing!

Please join us in calling for a minimum wage that meets families’ basic needs. As the state legislature holds a hearing on “Workforce Development,” we’re filling their hearing room with worker power!

Wednesday, Feb 3rd | 1:00 pm | Legislative Office Building, Hearing Room B

The Legislative Office Building is located at 198 State St. in Albany. According to the Department of Labor, the cost of living in New York State requires a single adult working full-time to make at least $15.91/hour. Yet about 3 million New Yorkers make less than $15. No matter the kind of work, no job should keep people in poverty or struggling to make ends meet. We hope you’ll join us in taking a stand against poverty wages in New York!

We will depart from 2421 Main St. 1199 SEIU offices on February 3rd at 6:30am. If you’d like to join us in Albany, contact CEJ Buffalo at (716) 892-5877 or email us at
