Community First Alliance to Host April 26th Teach-In

The Community First Alliance will host its second in a series of teach-ins about how a Community Benefits Agreement can ensure that the development at the Medical Campus puts people and neighborhoods first.

Ahead of the Community First Alliance’s launch later this Spring, there will be a power mapping exercise to bring attention to who is currently benefiting from the development at the Medical Campus and discuss the collective power of the people to make sure that the Fruit Belt benefits instead. There will also be an interactive organizer training to help Fruit Belt residents and allies gain the tools needed to become effective advocates for their community.
